Flight of the Navigator Movie Guide + Activities - Answer Key Inc. (Color + B&W)
This free 7 page movie guide with handouts accompanies the film "Flight of the Navigator (1986)"

PART 1 - The first part consists of 6 questions all on the subject of aliens and U.F.O’s. The students get 20 minutes to complete this part, and then discussed together as a class.

PART 2 – Comprehension questions. There’s a total of 35 questions in chronological order. Includes an answer key.

PART 3 – Writing and creativity
• The first activity students are to design a missing person’s poster looking for David. They have to include a sketch of David, describing his features, where he was last seen and what to do if they have information.
• The second activity is about describing. Students to describe three different things while imagining they are in the spaceship as David. First they need to describe everything they know about Max, then about the creatures seen in the ship, and last of all to describe what the ship looks like inside.
• The last activity in this section is to write a diary account of David spending his first day in the NASA research center.

This is a PG but does have a few instances of mild swearing. This movie is about a 12-year-old boy who goes missing in 1978, only to reappear once more in 1986. In the eight years that have passed, he hasn't aged. In the meantime a spaceship is found entangled in power lines.
