The movie is about Kiki, a witch who's just turned 13 and now obligated to leave home to find a new town to live and her place in the world. From the famed Studio Ghibli studio, this is a light-hearted alternative Halloween movie.

Faced with a difficult task of finding a new home due to the farmer's spring plough and the impossibility of moving her very ill son Timothy, Mrs. Brisby seeks aid from an unlikely set of animals and learns of a secret about her late husband.

As she navigates this strange realm, she must fend for herself as she encounters strange spirits, assorted creatures and a grumpy sorceress who seeks to prevent her from returning to the human world.

About the movie

Based on the novel by Frank Herbert. The movie follows the noble family Atreides as they inexplicably become embroiled in a war for control over the galaxy's most valuable asset, Spice. After accepting stewardship of Arrakis, the only planet that produces Spice, the Duke's son Paul begins his journey of self-discovery and connection to the locals known as the Fremen.
