PART 1 – Comprehension Questions in chronological order. I have made two sets for differentiation. The multiple choice questions have also worked well with my ESL students. Answer keys included.

PART 2 – Creativity
• Students to imagine they want to visit the moon like Fei Fei. They Design a rocket in the first box, then label and describe its features. They then explain how it will work on launch day.
PART 3 – Storyboard and synopsis
• Storyboard - Students to draw a 9 scene storyboard of what they believe to be the most important parts in the movie. To include a brief description for each scene. Remind students they can look at the movie questions to remind them of the sequences.
• Synopsis - Using their storyboards as guides, students to write a synopsis of the movie.

The movie is about a young girl named Fei Fei whose belief in the legend of the moon goddess Chang’e, brings about a wonderful adventure about love and life. Great to watch to learn more about the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival (Mooncake Festival)
