• After watching the movie, pick the brains of your students with these 10 thought provoking open ended questions. Could also be done individually and discussed after each question.
• First essay. Students to imagine they're living in the same orphanage as Peter. They're one of the orphans taken by the pirates and sent into the mine to search for fairy dust. Students need to write about their journey from the moment they’re captured by the pirates, up until the time they’re thrown into the mines. They need to include how they’re feeling throughout.
• Second Essay. After Peter has just rescued the other orphans and taken them to Neverland, students to continue the story to the point where Hook and Peter become enemies.

PART 1 – Comprehension Questions
There are 15 comprehension questions in chronological order to answer while watching the animation. At the end of the second page there is a 12 word word-search for the students to complete. Answers are included for both.

PART 2 – Creativity and Fun
• The first section is for the students to imagine they are joining Charlie Brown’s jack-o-lantern competition, so need to design and color theirs in the space provided. Below that they then write a step by step process of how they would make it using a real pumpkin.
• Student’s to join Linus in writing a letter to the Great Pumpkin. In their letter, they need to explain to the Great Pumpkin why he should visit their pumpkin patch, and what they want him to bring to them for Halloween.
• A 14 word Halloween crossword for the early finishers. Answers included

This short animation is about our lovable peanuts characters celebrating Halloween. Linus hopes that this year the Great Pumpkin will visit his sincere pumpkin patch, and Charlie Brown gets invited to a Halloween party.

2. The Book of Life Movie Guide ($3.00)

This is a 7 page movie guide for grades 1-4

There are 25 questions altogether. I have made two sets for the higher and lower grades. One set is multiple choice and the other is long answer. They are both in chronological order and include answers. I like to act out the scenes to the younger kids to give clues and help. It's great fun with kids.

One page is just for fun. There is a word search with 17 words and a calavera ready to be designed and coloured.

This movie is about Manolo, a young man who is torn between fulfilling the expectations of his family and following his heart, embarks on an adventure that spans three fantastic worlds where he must face his greatest fears.

This is a 10 page movie guide for grades 7-10

This includes:
• 5 discussion questions about witches
• Reading passage about the Salem Witch Trials
• 10 comprehension questions for the reading passage

Part 1 and Part 2 are tasks to be done before watching the movie. The hope is to get the students more motivated for the movie and questions ahead.

• PART 1 – There are 5 questions about witches that need to be completed within 20 minutes. Afterwards discuss as a class getting opinions from the students about witches. Talk about the Salem witch trials here too.

• PART 2 – Students to read the passage about the Salem Witch Trials and then complete 10 reading comprehension questions.

• PART 3 – There are 30 comprehension questions in chronological order for the students to complete while watching the movie.

• PART 4 – Students are to make a truly wicked/awesome potion using mysterious, weird or downright disgusting ingredients. They need to also include what it does and the directions on how to make it.

This movie is about the Sanderson sisters who were hanged for practicing witchcraft 300 years ago in Salem. Returning to life thanks to a combination of a spell spoken before their demise and the accidental actions of Max, the new kid, the witches have one Halloween night to secure their continuing existence.

This 12 page movie guide with handouts is for the film "Wonder (2017)"

PART 1 – Comprehension questions. I have made two sets of questions depending on how much of a challenge you want to give the students. Answer keys included

- 45 questions in chronological order.
- 30 questions in chronological order (15 questions removed from the 45 question set)

PART 2 – I have made 5 additional critical thinking questions. Students to provide their opinion and a brief explanation on why they think that way. Example answers included.

PART 3 – Essay and recount
• In the first section students are to imagine that they are Jack after realizing Auggie overheard him say he would kill himself if he looked like him. They are to write an apology letter to Auggie explaining the reason why he said what he said and what he’s going to do to make it up to him. They need to include a drawing of Jack and Auggie making up.
• The second part, students are to write a short diary entry for each of the students who helped give Auggie a tour of the school before school started. They need to take into account the characteristics of each child and then recount their experience of the tour.

PART 4 – Just for fun word search and crossword puzzle (15 questions with the answers being the words to find in the word search) answer key included

The movie is based on the best selling book by R. J. Palacio. Wonder tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman (Auggie), a boy with facial differences who enters 5th grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This 5 page movie guide accompanies the movie "E.T The Extraterrestrial" 

This has two parts to it. The first part consists of 6 questions all on the subject of aliens. The students get 20 minutes to complete this part, then discuss together as a class. The idea is that the students become familiar with vocabulary related to aliens as well as listening to other opinions and beliefs.

The second part consists of 30 comprehension questions in chronological order to be answered after the movie. Students are required to make notes to help complete this part.

This movie is based on a group of aliens who visit earth with one of them being left behind and stranded on this planet. The alien is found by a 10 year old boy, Elliot. Soon the two begin to communicate, and start a different kind of friendship.

Bridge to Terabithia - Movie Comprehension Questions + Activities - Answer Key Included

This 6 page movie guide is for the movie "Bridge to Terabithia"

PART 1 – Bullying questions

The first part of this product focuses on the bullying aspect in the movie. Students have to make notes throughout the movie detailing who, where and when the bullying happened. Using their notes they then complete the 4 questions. Teacher notes about the bullying has been included in the answer section.

PART 2 – Movie Questions

There are 21 comprehension questions all in chronological order. An answer key is also included

PART 3 - Creativity

• This first area, students to imagine they are about to enter a world similar to Terabithia. They need to name the world and describe the bridge and surrounding environment.

• The second area asks for the students to draw and describe two of the creatures who inhabit this world.

This movie is about Jesse, a boy who is constantly picked on at school. He has no friends until Leslie, the new girl, befriends him. They use their imaginations and create a wonderful fantasy world.
