Great to watch for Cinco de Mayo to learn more about Mexican culture and Day of the Dead (DĆa de los Muertos). This guide may also work well as a sub plan for your substitute teacher.

Steeped in Mexican culture and folklore, the movie follows young Miguel whose dreams of becoming a musician are hampered by his family's ban on music. Magically entering the Land of the Dead, Miguel embarks on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind his family history.
