Disney's Inside Out (2015) - Movie Questions + Activities (Group Work)

Product Description
This 9 page movie guide accompanies the movie "Inside Out"

Part 1 – This is comprised of 23 long answer questions in chronological order. Students should ideally make notes on important events and the characters to help with the questions.

Part 2 (GROUP WORK) – This task is for groups of 5. Each student in the group will get one of the 5 emotion characters from the movie. They need to complete the worksheet which should take around 30-45 minutes.

Part 3 (GROUP WORK CONT) – Now the students have completed Part 2 they need to get into groups again but this time grouped into the same emotion. Each group will need to make a poster which will include:

• The picture drawn in part 2 from each person and their reason.
• A colorful title for their emotion (emotion color)
• The paragraph from each of the personality islands (The best ones chosen between the students in the group)
• Any vocabulary connected to that emotion
• Other decorations to make the poster presentable

Part 4 – Students to present their posters to the rest of the class

This movie is about a young girl named Riley who moves to a new city. We follow her emotions: Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness, conflict on how best to navigate her new way of life.

This 6 page movie guide accompanies the movie "Ratatouille"

Part 1 – This section is comprised of 30 comprehension questions in chronological order on 2 pages. An answer key is included.

Part 2 – This has 3 tasks. (Can also be done as a group)

• The first one is designing the floor plan for Linguini’s new restaurant. The students need to include the kitchen, tables, chairs, doors, windows, lamps, toilets, receptionist and anything else they think should be in a restaurant. The plan has to be labelled.

• The second one is creating a special recipe for Linguini’s new restaurant. The students need to include ingredients and directions on how to make it.

• The third one is writing an article about Linguini’s new restaurant. Students will write about their experience dining in the new restaurant (how the food was, service and the atmosphere.) A short interview with Linguini and a picture to go with the article is also required.

The movie is about a rat named Remy who dreams of becoming a chef. He accidentally meets up with a kitchen boy named Linguini, and together they turn the culinary world of Paris upside down.

Part 1 – 30 comprehension questions in chronological order. Answer sheet included. Ideally this is best done after the movie, so the students can write notes while watching. The last question is that all too well known conundrum "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" which I'm sure will get some great responses from the students.

Part 2 – Creativity

• Students need to design something to help them escape the farm. They need to include instructions on how to use it, and an escape plan.

• Students to design a missing poster for the circus searching for “Rocky the Flying Rooster”. They have to include where he was last seen, who to contact, the reward, what he looks like and any other information they feel is important.

This movie is about an American circus cockerel who accidentally lands inside a chicken farm. The resident chickens use this as an opportunity to escape from the farm's evil owners .

This product has 3 parts to it:

Part 1
• There are 2 pages of 30 comprehension questions in chronological order. Answers can be found at the end of the document.

Part 2 - This part is about creativity.
• On the first page, students are asked to recreate Cornelius’s map that he has somehow misplaced. Students to draw the map making sure they label important areas including dangerous places.
• On the second page, the students are to imagine they are one of the clean-up crew that goes to the forest to clean up the gas spill. They need to write a report detailing the damage done by the gas. To include what they did to restore the forest back to its natural beauty.

Part 3
Here the students have to answer 3 questions about environmental damage.
•The 1st question asks the students to list and detail three forms of man-made pollution and why they are a problem. An example is provided
•The 2nd question is about deforestation.
• The 3rd questions is why they think it’s important to protect the environment.

This movie is about a young mouse, mole and hedgehog who risk their lives to find a cure for their badger friend, who's been poisoned by a poisonous gas leaked from a truck that crashed transporting it.

Rise of the Guardians (2016) - Movie Questions + Easter ExThis 8 page movie guide accompanies the movie "Rise of the Guardians" It is an Easter edition which has additional Easter activities for the kids to do.

Part 1
Here there are 32 comprehension questions from the movie that are in chronological order. The students need to write full sentence answers.

Part 2
The students first need to draw a picture of the Easter Bunny from the movie. Then on the right describe him. Below that they then need to describe one of his Easter eggs and draw it too.

Part 3
The Easter Bunny has left a message for the student but it’s using a secret code. In order for the students to crack the code they need to answer the questions. The first letter of the answer to the question is the letter used in the code. Check the answers to see

Part 4
Some Easter words have gone missing in the word egg. The students need to find them. In addition to this the students need to find the 5 guardians, who aren’t listed.

This movie is about the Guardians - Santa Clause (North), The Tooth fairy, The Easter Bunny, and the Sandman who battle against the Boogeyman to ensure kids all across the world continue to believe in them.
