2. Disney's A Bug's Life

The students will get into teams of three and will have explained to them that they’re going to watch an animation called A Bug’s life, which will have a lot of different insects in.

PART 1
• While watching the movie the team members need to write down all the insects they see in their books and find the correct insect for the circus performers. At the end of the movie, they then transfer into the worksheet together.

• To help with the questions later they also need to make sure they know the 16 words in the list. If they don’t, then they circle it and look for the word in the dictionary. The teacher then goes through all the words together as a class.

• In the next section the team members draw a small insect in each box.

PART 2
• The team members then complete the 23 comprehension questions working together. These are a combination of multiple choice and full sentence answers.

PART 3
• The team first put some character names back in order then find them in the word search. Followed by drawing and coloring the picture. Each team member can draw only one character and use the 3 colors mentioned, so they take it in turns drawing and coloring appropriately.
