PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This 6 page environmental movie guide accompanies the movie "Once Upon a Forest"
This product has 3 parts to it:
Part 1
• There are 2 pages of 30 comprehension questions in chronological order. Answers can be found at the end of the document.
Part 2 - This part is about creativity.
• On the first page, students are asked to recreate Cornelius’s map that he has somehow misplaced. Students to draw the map making sure they label important areas including dangerous places.
• On the second page, the students are to imagine they are one of the clean-up crew that goes to the forest to clean up the gas spill. They need to write a report detailing the damage done by the gas. To include what they did to restore the forest back to its natural beauty.
Part 3
Here the students have to answer 3 questions about environmental damage.
•The 1st question asks the students to list and detail three forms of man-made pollution and why they are a problem. An example is provided
•The 2nd question is about deforestation.
• The 3rd questions is why they think it’s important to protect the environment.
This movie is about a young mouse, mole and hedgehog who risk their lives to find a cure for their badger friend, who's been poisoned by a poisonous gas leaked from a truck that crashed transporting it.
