Product Description
This 12 page movie guide with handouts accompanies the film "Curious George (2006)".
Included in the worksheets:
PART 1 – Students to complete comprehension questions while watching the movie. I have made three sets for the different grades. There are answer keys for all of them.
• 20 multiple choice questions with 3 possible answers in chronological order.
• 20 questions requiring answers in full sentence.
• 30 questions for the higher grades, also requiring written answers in full sentence form.
After the movie I like to go through questions not understood or answered and give clues through acting or rewording the question. The 20 and 30 question sheets have been labeled.
PART 2 – Creativity and writing
• The first task is for the students to draw a picture of Ted and George doing something together and then to answer the 4 questions.
• The second task is a word search and the 3 questions asking students to write about the times they felt happy, sad and excited during the movie.
If you don't already have the movie, you can purchase or rent it from Amazon.com
Based on the book series by H.A. Rey and Margret Rey, the movie is about a man named Ted who works at a natural history museum that's fallen on hard times. The museum director's son wants to turn it into a parking lot, but Ted offers to bring back a mysterious idol from Africa that's guaranteed to pull in crowds. Ted accidentally brings back a lonely monkey, he names George.
