Included in the worksheets:
PART 1 – There are two sets of comprehension questions, one with full sentence answers and the other multiple choice. 25 questions altogether with an answer key for both.
PART 2 – Writing & creativity
• The first task involves the students writing a little bit about one of the characters in the movie. They choose one of the six listed names, then draw a picture of that character and complete the questions. Students also need to write the name in to the correct box as well as the correct pronouns and possessive pronouns.
• The second task has the students imagining they are an assistant to Professor Bomba and have spotted 3 of the creatures on the map. They then go onto describe what they saw at each location.
PART 3 – Word search for the early finishers with answers
This movie is about young Mary Katherine (M.K.) who returns to her scientist father's home, but his all-consuming quest to discover a tiny civilization in the neighboring forest drives them apart. However, M.K. soon finds herself shrunken down by Queen Tara and charged to deliver a pod bearing the new Queen to safety. As the villainous Boggan leader, Mandrake closes in, M.K. and her new friends must save their world.
