PART 1 – Comprehension Questions. There are 2 sets for the different grade range. Includes answer keys
• 30 multiple choice questions with 3 possible answers.
• 30 questions requiring full sentence answers.
The multiple choice questions have also worked well with my ESL students.
PART 2 – Creativity and Essay writing
• The first section is for students to imagine R. L. Stine is asking them for inspiration in creating a new monster for one of his books. Students to complete a profile for a new monster including a visual representation.
• The second section is for students to imagine R. L Stine was so impressed with their monster that he used it in one of his books. Students go on to write a book review as though they have read the book which included their monster.
• The third section is for the student to write a recount for one of the following characters: Zach, Hannah, Champ, R. L. Stine or Slappy. They start from the moment the first book is opened.
Based on the children's horror book series of the same name, this movie is about a teenager named Zach who befriends the daughter of Goosebumps author R. L. Stine, who is imprisoned within his own wild imagination as his creations are actually real live monsters. Zach unwillingly releases one of the monsters. Now it's up to Stine, Zach and Hannah to send the monsters back.
