This 9 page movie guide with worksheets for grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 accompanies the animation film "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown! (1974)".

This guide may also work well as a sub plan for your substitute teacher.
PART 1 – Comprehension questions in chronological order. I have made two sets for differentiation. The multiple choice questions may also work well with ESL/ELL students. Answer keys included.
- 15 questions requiring full sentence answers.
- 15 multiple choice questions with 3 possible answers.
PART 2 – Storyboard, sentence writing, word search and crossword
- Students to draw a 6 scene storyboard of what they believe to be the most important parts in the animation. To include a brief description for each scene. Remind students they can look at the questions to help with the sequences.
- Students to write sentences using the beginning of each letter in the word Easter. Followed by writing about a time in the animation a characters felt happy, sad and excited.
- Students to complete a 10 clue crossword puzzle followed by a word search. The word search has 15 words to find, 10 of which are the answers from the crossword.
- Students to design and color an Easter egg for the Easter Beagle then describe it. Followed by writing a short paragraph on who will receive the egg and why.
This TV short is about the Peanuts gang getting ready for Easter with their usual quirky antics. Peppermint Patty tries to teach Marcie a holiday skill, while Linus has faith in a mysterious Easter figure. Snoopy adds his own playful twist to the festivities.
