This 5 page movie guide accompanies the movie "Jumanji"
PART 1-
This has 20 questions in chronological order. I have included 2 sets of questions:
•Multiple choice for the lower level students + a few full sentence answers.
•Full sentence answers for the higher grades.
PART 2- This is a creativity section.
•In the first part, the students are to design a board game similar to Jumanji. They name it, write the instructions and then draw it.
•In the second part the students have to imagine they’ve been sucked into the Jumanji game and are now in the jungle. They have to write a diary entry for the first day spent there. Needs to be about their experience and what they encounter.
It is best to get the students to write notes throughout the movie, but if time is limited can be used while watching instead.
This movie is about two kids who find and play a magical board game. They release a man trapped for decades in it and a multitude of dangers that can only be stopped by finishing the game.
